VIVO milk starter is for the preparation of homemade yogurt.

Yogurt is a popular product worldwide, with a fantastic taste and the freshness of fermented milk. It is a popular product for daily meals.

Yogurt contains lactic streptococci, three types of lactobacilli, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and acidophilous bacterium. When they develop together, these bacteria create a high content of lactic acid which has the effect of reducing pathogenic bacteria. Yogurt consumption reduces the risk of digestive disorders and gastrointestinal infections.

Yogurt quickly reduces thirst and the desire to eat. It is useful for all ages, especially for older people, pregnant and breastfeeding women. Daily consumption of yogurt contributes to the rapid recovery of the human body and covers the daily needs for amino acids, calcium salts, etc.

Regular use of the yogurt starter increases the level of metabolism. This contributes to regulating and reducing weight and body fat percentage.

PREPARATION

It is very simple to prepare homemade yogurt. You will need milk, a clean pot and a large towel. Although the fermentation process lasts 8 hours, it takes 10 to 15 minutes to get everything ready for the yogurt fermentation.

Add the VIVO starter to warm milk (40°C, slightly warmer than the human body). Carefully wrap the towel around the pot to maintain the mixture's temperature. Leave it for 12 to 20 hours in a sheltered place away from drafts to ferment. When the product thickens, move it to the refrigerator and your yogurt is ready!


It is even faster and more convenient to prepare the yogurt in a yogurt maker or multi-cooker with the «yogurt» or «40°C» function.
